As the world focuses on COP26 and all things climate-related, we thought it would be a good time to share some recent work on a Class 314 Train. We recently received a request from a third party for seats that will fit onto an EMU Rail Vehicle being converted into Hydrogen-Powered from Electric Powered via Pantograph.
We carried out a complete refurbishment of the seats which comprised of:
- Strip down and repair to seat shells, meal trays, grab handles, armrest castings and seat pedestals prior to re-painting
- Cut, sew and re-trim back squabs and cushions with new moquette
- Cut, sew, and embroider leather anti-macassars
- Re-assemble seats to the customers configuration requirements
