The Brighton Belle project was a restoration of the iconic all-electric Pullman train, which run between London and Brighton between 1933 and 1972. This was the largest and most complex rail restoration project in the UK. Grinsty Rail worked closely with the restoration team to manufacture new 2+1 seating for 4 cars and 1+1 seating for one car of re-furbished armchair seating in original art deco fabric whilst meeting the current fire safety standards. The scope of work included using a combination of old and new production techniques to produce a product in the style of the era.
