Grinsty Rail Ltd today announces it has joined the Global Electronics Association (formerly known as IPC), the global trade association representing the electronics industry. The Associationโs rebrand to the Global Electronics Association reflects its expanded role as the voice of the electronics industry worldwide while retaining the same standards, training and certification pathway. Membership gives Grinsty Rail direct access to the Associationโs technical resources, industry advocacy, and worldwide network of manufacturers, suppliers and training partners. As part of the membership programme, Grinsty Rail is launching a company-wide retraining and certification initiative to ensure staff meet internationally recognised workmanship and repair standards, including:
- IPC-A-610 โ Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 โ Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies
- IPC-7711/7721 โ Rework, Modification and Repair of Electronic Assemblies
The retraining programme will include instructor-led courses, hands-on practical assessments, and formal certification testing through authorised Global Electronics Association training providers. This investment in people and skills will strengthen Grinsty Railโs quality assurance, improve product reliability, and increase confidence among customers and supply-chain partners.
