With the continued media focus on Car emissions and EV vehicles, Grinsty Rail have had installed a twin port EV charging point which is in and is now fully operational.
In 2020 the discussion to offer a charging solution to staff and visitors to the Redditch site at Grinsty Rail was rubberstamped by the Board of Directors.
Capital investment was injected into the business as part of the grow and expand strategy with a target to become Carbon Neutral in the coming years. This may be a small step, but one that is a forward step.
The Twin port Rolec EV charging Pedestal has now been commissioned and installed by Rollings EV, who are a Worcester based EV and Electrical Installer.
When making the decision as to what and who to use in this currently densely populated EV installation field, Matt Perry-Parker, MD said:
“as one of our divisions is an electrical biased business and understanding the importance of environmental impacts such as emissions, the decision was an easy one to have the EV installation approved. With a view to becoming carbon neutral and futureproofing the Redditch site, working with Rollings EV for me was a no brainer, they are a local business who were easy to work with and to top it all, was installed with minimal fuss.”
Paul Rollings commented on the installation,
